Corporate mobility within the European Union (EU) has undergone significant changes, particularly since the adoption of the Cross-Border Mobility Directive 2019/2121, which harmonized mergers, divisions, and conversions across member states. Understanding the factors influencing these transactions is crucial for assessing the effectiveness of current legislation and its impact on stakeholders, including shareholders, creditors, and employees.
